LGBTQ+ Community Workshop

Peace Lutheran Church is offering a workshop for anyone interested in learning how to better offer solidarity and support to the LGBTQ+ community. Grace Appell who spent a week at a youth leadership conference last summer learning how to educate about and advocate for marginalized people will lead a workshop that will help us get up to date on the language and terminology as well as some of the legal and societal obstacles LGBTQ+ individuals face in our society. Pastor Aimee Appell will also be present to help moderate any theological questions or conversations. This workshop is open to anyone who is interested including those who are not regular church goers. Please share with anyone else who might be interested.
